This policy explains what Titan Solar Limited LLC, doing business as Gotta Show Me Solar ("we", "us"), collects when you use this website, why we collect it, and what we do and do not do with it. It covers this site and the phone calls, text messages and emails that follow from a message you send us here.

The short version. We collect what you send us through the chat on this site so we can call you about solar and battery storage for your home. We do not sell your personal information, and we do not share your phone number or your text message opt-in with third parties for their own marketing. You can tell us to stop at any time and we will.

We help Ameren Illinois homeowners look at solar and battery options. We are not a solar installer, we are not a utility, and we are not a government agency or a government program. We are not affiliated with Ameren Illinois or any utility, and we do not act for the State of Illinois, the Illinois Commerce Commission, the Illinois Power Agency, the Illinois Shines program, or any state or federal agency.

What we collect

Information you give us: your name, email address, phone number, ZIP code, property address, and your answers about your home and your electric bill.
Consent records: the date, time and page of your chat message, and the consent wording shown to you. We keep this to show that contact was authorized.
Call recordings: phone calls with us may be recorded for quality and training. If you would rather not be recorded, say so at the start of the call and we will stop.
Technical information: IP address, browser and device type, pages viewed and referring source, collected through cookies and similar technologies.

How we use it

To contact you by phone, email or text about solar and battery storage for your home
To work out whether solar or storage makes sense at your address
To connect you with a licensed installer if you decide to go ahead
To measure and improve our advertising
To keep records the law requires, including consent records

Who we share it with

We share your information in these situations only:

An installer, only once you decide to go ahead. We do not give your phone number to an installer so they can call or text you: we are your point of contact. If you decide to move forward, we share what the installer needs to design, permit and install your system. If a different licensed installer is a better fit for your home, we ask you first. Installers are responsible for their own privacy practices from that point on.
Service providers who run our business, including our CRM, phone system, email provider and analytics tools. They may only use your information to provide those services to us.
When the law requires it, such as a valid legal request, or to protect our rights or someone's safety.

What we never do. We do not sell your personal information. No mobile information will be shared with third parties or affiliates for marketing or promotional purposes. We do not share, rent or trade your phone number, your text message opt-in or your email address with third parties for their own marketing. Text messaging originator opt-in data and consent are not shared with any third party.

Text messages and phone calls

When you send us your name and mobile number through the chat on this site, you agree that Gotta Show Me Solar may call and text you at that number about solar and battery storage for your home, including appointment reminders and replies to your questions. The chat shows this consent before you send it, and you don't have to agree to use the rest of the site.

Consent is not a condition of purchase. Message frequency varies. Message and data rates may apply. Reply STOP to any text to opt out, or HELP for help. You can also ask us to stop calling at any time, by phone or by email, and we will. No mobile information will be shared with third parties or affiliates for marketing or promotional purposes.

Cookies and advertising

We use cookies and tracking pixels, including the Meta pixel, to understand how people find and use this site and to measure our advertising. These tools may set cookies in your browser and report events such as page views and chat messages.

You can block or delete cookies in your browser settings. Doing so may change how parts of this site work.

How long we keep it

We keep your contact information while you are an active prospect or customer, and after that only as long as we need it for business or legal reasons. Consent records are kept for at least five years.

Security

We use reasonable safeguards to protect your information. No method of sending or storing data is completely secure, and we cannot guarantee absolute security.

Children

This site is not meant for anyone under 18, and we do not knowingly collect information from children. If you believe a child has given us information, email us and we will delete it.

Changes

If we change this policy we will update the date at the top. Material changes will be posted here before they take effect.
